Extreme comfort

For Massaro, comfort
must never be sacrificed for beauty.
But comfort must never be a pretext for weighing down the shoes.
Since the 1960’s the firm
has naturally developed a department
dedicated to extreme comfort, backed by
extensive knowledge of anatomy
and the techniques that make its approach to
shoemaking so special.

The fine art of shoemaking
morphs into the science of orthopedics:
with the help of an approved, specialized technician, a shoe is drawn (either unique or taken from an existing collection), and several fittings are scheduled.
The Massaro workshops
then erase all differences
with more traditional shoes and use skins that are as supple as a second skin, or materials able to provide firm support, as required.
